While driving around in an old mining town we came across this old mine that was still standing. It operated as a mine from 1985 to 1900 in that time it produced over $2,500,000 in gold.

While I was walking around it and took a look in the operating room where the elevator worked for the miners to go down into it I felt like I was going to see some kind of a ghost. It was really creepy and cool at the same time. There was one small room with a bench in it that had an oil can that was all rusty and worn out.
I loved the thought that possibly something could pop out at any moment, but of course nothing did. It was an amazing piece of history.
