San Francisco has always been a fun place to go and visit. I love riding on the cable cars, walking around fisherman’s wharf, and eating Chinese food in Chinatown.

This time was a little colder than my other trips but that didn’t stop me from walking around and enjoying as much as I could while I was there.

When I go to San Francisco it has become a tradition to stop at the Japanese Tea Garden and have some tea and snacks.

My favorite tea there is the jasmine and green tea. This time I had the jasmine tea and ate the little snacks that they have then walked around the garden for a while till they almost closed.

I always feel so relaxed after having the tea while sitting in the beautiful garden.

Hearst Castle is so big that there were three tours to pick from. The tour that I went on was the Upstairs Suites Tour. The castle took over 28 years to build and was never finished.

The rooms that I did get to see were amazing. Every room had a different design on the ceiling and featured really rare artwork from around the world.

There were two libraries that I got to see that had over several thousand books. My favorite part of the tour was the pool. The whole place was made out of tile and marble and had a diving spot that looked like a thrown with tile and marble on it.

I would love to go back and take the other tours that they have to offer.

Even though Mr. Hearst lived there with his girlfriend and his wife only stayed in the other half when she visited there was a crazy rule Mr. Hearst had that you could only share a room with someone you were married to. I wonder how bondage people would have gotten on?

It is a shame to call it a castle with no dungeon.

I stayed in a caveman room .

The whole room was made of rock, the walls, the ceiling, the floors, and the bathroom. There was a waterfall in the room that fell into my own pond. In the bathroom the sink was a 4 foot waterfall that would run over onto the ground and off into the shower.

The shower had several different options a waterfall that fell from above. I would love to have a bathroom like this in my house with all the waterfalls and rocks.

I slept really good because it was so dark and cool in the room

This week I am taking a trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. I have made the trip before and I always wanted to drive my convertible up the coast. We brought three cars and two motorcycles on the trip including my Mercedes convertible.

My friend brought a Porsche 911 turbo so I know we are probably going to get carried away on some parts of the trip.

Along the way we are going to visit Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle, San Francisco, The Wine Country, and hopefully Jelly Belly since I have never made it there before.

I will share an entry and picture with every stop. I am so excited to go on this trip and spend time with everyone :)

I have a room where I store all of my favorite gear. Every once in a while i find myself looking around the room at all of the great gear that was custom built over the years and thinking of the next idea to try. This time it involved a few escape proof devices together in a whole new uncomfortable way and I would have to find out just how long i can endure.
