Metal Models
July 30, 2013

I have been building model cars and airplanes since I was a kid. I came across this new kind of a model that is made out of metal. They have so many different kinds of options to build. I have built five of the models and have two more that I need to start. I still have to say that my favorite looking one is the wright brother’s airplane. There are so many tiny metal pieces. The hardest one that I have done so far was the train. Mostly because of the tiny wheels that I had to make. The one that I hope to see in stores soon or get online is the ford model T.

Renaissance Festival
July 27, 2013

post image It has been at least 10 years or longer since I went to the Renaissance Festival. This year when I went I got to dress up like the Renaissance times, of course in purple. My favorite part about the whole outfit was the corset. Plus while we were there they had so many other beautiful corsets to look at.

There was a castle called The Dungeon Museum. We took a tour of it and it was pretty awesome!! There were some things in there that would be fun to try, and then there are the things that involved rats that wouldn’t.

I had a great time all together and look forward to going back again.

Tiny Town Jail
July 21, 2013

post image Tiny Town is a little miniature town that has building and a train that runs around it. It was built in 1915 for a little girl and opened to the public in 1921. I couldn’t even tell you how many little houses there were. It was like we were giant people walking through a town. Most of the buildings were replicas of real buildings that were either from the past or still standing today.
Every town has to have a jail and I found it!! I got into the little jail and looked through the bars. It was so cute and fun.

Night Flying
July 17, 2013

post image Last night we went out flying and toured the city. Night flying has got to be one of my favorite ways of flying around. All of the lights look so pretty at night while they are twinkling. When we went up the sun was just starting to set so the mountains had a glowing halo behind them. It was beautiful.

Purple Flower
July 12, 2013

post image
I planted four clumps of this purple flower last year and every single one came back again even bigger than last year. I just couldn’t get over how pretty the color looked and had to share it with everyone.

Mining Ruins
July 09, 2013

post image While driving around in an old mining town we came across this old mine that was still standing. It operated as a mine from 1985 to 1900 in that time it produced over $2,500,000 in gold.

While I was walking around it and took a look in the operating room where the elevator worked for the miners to go down into it I felt like I was going to see some kind of a ghost. It was really creepy and cool at the same time. There was one small room with a bench in it that had an oil can that was all rusty and worn out.
I loved the thought that possibly something could pop out at any moment, but of course nothing did. It was an amazing piece of history.

Ocen Journey
July 02, 2013

I enjoy going to the aquarium every couple of years. There is always something new and exciting to see. I love to watch the fish swim around under the water and all the different colors that they are. That is one reason why I like to go scuba diving seeing all the fish and sea life.
