I loved visiting Robert Mondavi.
I took a tour of the winery while I was in Napa Valley On the tour I got to walk through the vineyards and try the different kind of grapes that they grow. They were really sweet and juicy. I also got to see the huge barrels they use to age the wine downstairs where it sits for a year on its side. At the end of the tour there was a wine sampling.
I tried 2008 Reserve Chardonnay, 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve, and a 2007 Vine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon. They were all good, but my favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon.
I ended up getting a few cases of the Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon for home.
