We took a tour of a candy factory the other day and learned how some of the sweetest candies are made. You know how you can always get the normal candy canes like peppermint? Well this place does flavored ones, pretty much any flavor you can think of. They even have one that is a wine flavor.


The candy store was started in 1920 and has moved three times since it opened. On the tour we got to see the people in the back making candy canes and ribbon candy. During Christmas they have a special day when they have Santa come and visit the kids.


Of course they have a huge store at the end of the tour that you get to go through and see all the things that they make. On the way out of the tour they did have a huge pot filled with candy so you could get a sample of the candy. They were really good.
